Tessa Valeu, LSW
Licensed Social Worker
Life can be unpredictable at times, like there is no way out of the mess we’re in. I’m here to help individuals wanting to learn new and healthy ways to deal with what life throws at them. Together, we help them find the strength and courage within to tackle challenges.
I specialize in supporting adults, couples, young adults, and teens who are struggling with anxiety and/or depression. Learning and applying a number of therapeutic approaches, they often come to understand that it’s okay (and natural) to express all the emotions in a healthy manner. I also specialize in supporting men from all walks of life who are seeking an unbiased person to talk with.
When working with clients, I strive to help them see that while it may be initially nerve wracking to confide in a new person, therapy can become a highly beneficial part of their lives. My hope is that each person who comes into my office feels welcome and safe. I see my office as my clients’ space to share what they feel like is most important in their life at the time they walk through the door.
