Megan Turner, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
When we experience distress in our lives, whether in the form of depression, from a traumatic experience, in response to a loss, or as a result of struggles with addiction - we are challenged by our minds and bodies to seek understanding, connection and healing. I have found that when we look at these challenges and face them together, we can find relief.
My office is a safe place to be heard, seen, and appreciated. The therapeutic approach I take is rooted in the understanding that my clients know themselves best. I bring a highly individualized approach to each unique person, establishing safety, trust, nonjudgement, and commitment to your healing and growth.
I feel immense empathy for college and graduate students (as well as others) who cope with the rigors of school, work and life with substance abuse and grapple with addiction. I am passionate about guiding individuals to not only discover freedom in their choices, but to unearth profound meaning in their lives, harnessing the transformative power inherent in the therapeutic journey.
