Alyssa Hall, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
EMDR Therapist
Beyond the veil of hopelessness and shame from past experiences, lives a narrative of positive transformation waiting to be embraced. I help people embrace a new story, regain confidence in themselves, and start enjoying their life again.
While therapy is an invaluable process for healing trauma, it can also provide crucial support during transition to a new phase in life, navigating stressful situations, or cultivating self love and compassion. Too often, our inner dialogue becomes a course of self-bullying, leading us to believe that others will also judge us based on our beliefs or thoughts. My focus is using therapeutic modalities that reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, process emotions, and cultivate trust within themselves - fostering inner harmony that radiates outward in their lives.
Some of my favorite ways to personally unwind and reduce stress are going for walks and reading. (I am also a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi books!) Being outside and smelling all the different scents of the leaves, grass, rain, flowers, and soil really helps to recalibrate my inner landscape.
